About Loan Repayment Finder and Our Methodology

Loan Repayment Finder lists state student loan repayment and forgiveness programs, and the main federal options, using official government sources only.

Methodology

• Official sources only. Every program links to a state agency, a federal agency (such as studentaid.gov or HRSA) or the administrator named by the state.
• Figures are checked against the source. Our build fetches each official page and confirms that award amounts we show appear on it. If an amount can't be confirmed, we leave it out and link to the source.
• Dated. Every listing shows the date we last checked it.
• Coverage. We list the main statewide programs we can verify. Employers, cities and professional groups offer others.

Who we are

This site is an independent project run by an analyst with more than 15 years in Lean Six Sigma process improvement, business intelligence and analytics. That background shapes how we work: every program listed here links to its official source, shows the date we last checked it, and is corrected when details change. We don't accept payment to list or rank programs.
